Sales Representative


SolarWorks is recruiting a Sales Representative, to be based in Matola, Mozambique.
  • As a Solar Sales Representative, it is expected that the collaborator drives sales of solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers, this person should be the face of our company, building relationships with potential customers, follow up on leads and inquiries promptly, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. Conduct sales presentations and providing expert guidance on solar energy solutions. The sales representative should work closely with our business development team, operations teams to generate leads, close sales, and exceed revenue targets. This is a commission-based role with uncapped earning potential
  • Sales Generation: Proactively generate leads and identify potential customers through various methods, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solar energy solutions provided by the business development sector
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers, showcasing the benefits of solar energy solutions, addressing customer concerns, and offering customized proposals. Utilize product knowledge and technical expertise to answer customer questions and provide accurate information
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing the sale. Utilize tools and sales tracking system to manage and prioritize leads, monitor sales progress, and provide regular reports to management. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely installation and delivery of solar energy solutions
  • Achieving Sales Targets: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Continuously identify new sales opportunities and strategies to increase sales and revenue and contribute to the growth of the company
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, solar energy technology advancements, and government incentives
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build report with customers
  • Ability to work independently and manage sales pipeline effectively
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical customers
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel
