Procurement Regulatory & Compliance Lead

Description

• Responsible for integrating applicable legal and regulatory requirements across the procurement lifecycle, ensuring alignment between procurement strategies, contractual commitments, supplier development initiatives, and business objectives, while promoting and maximizing Local Content participation and outcomes

Duties

• Integrate applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and Local Content requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategies, tendering activities, contract awards, and contract execution
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, including procurement processes, procedures, tools, templates, and controls that support compliance and business objectives
• Lead supplier qualification and evaluation activities, including EOI and ITT requirements, supplier assessments, and sourcing recommendations
• Provide strategic guidance to Contract Committees and Procurement teams, enabling informed contracting decisions and effective risk management
• Drive supplier engagement and development through Supplier Forums, B2B events, pre-bid sessions, and post-bid feedback to strengthen supplier capability and participation
• Monitor contractor performance, reporting, and compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations, ensuring timely resolution of identified gaps."

Requisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (preferred), Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracting, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, or related business functions
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes, including sourcing, tendering, contract award, and contract management
• Experience interpreting and applying legal, regulatory, contractual, and governance requirements within business processes
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, supplier management, compliance oversight, and performance monitoring
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
