Plan International is recruiting a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator, to be based in Maxixe and Nampula, Mozambique.
Duties
  • The post holder will directly supervise the drivers, Administration Secretary and Receptionist and Office Attendant
  • The Procurement and Logistics Coordinator shall report technically to the procurement, logistics and Security Manager, carry out responsibility through the efficient and effective organization and coordination of the procurement and logistics activities, Procurement planning, supply planning and proactive front end logistics support to meet project needs and requirements
  • Achieving compliance with Donor Grants and Plan procedures and systems and upholding high standards in procurement and logistics ethics
  • The Procurement and Logistics Coordinator will also oversee security and general administration
  • Logistics and supply chain planning
  • Contracts and lease management
  • Vehicle logistics coordination
  • Property and fixed asset register maintenance
Requisites
  • Degree in Business Administration or Management or equivalent
  • Certification in Procurement or supply chain management
  • 6 years relevant working  experience in a similar role
  • Strong experience in working with donor funded projects e.g. USAID, CIDA, etc.
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
  • Ability to interpret and work in accordance with laid down procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications, e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet
  • Ability to multitask and deliver on set deadlines
