PRI is recruiting a PR & Publicity Executive, to be based in Maputo.

Duties
Outputs
  • To carry out the development, implementation and delivery of internal and external communication, including site, newsletter subscribers communications and other publications, in conjunction with staff, to contribute to the broader policy and communication, and work programs
Web
  • Check the daily life of site content, including updating and continuous monitoring of sections
  • Establishment in social networks and the creation of an innovative communication platform with their subscribers
Media
  • Develop and manage relationships with media, with the intention of creating a good advertising, becoming a source of solid and reputable information, and if necessary conflict management
  • For permanent contact with the Department of Marketing & Communications to help in the transmission of information to the media about the statements of the companies, maintaining statements and / or important press releases; media projects; writing articles
  • Set goals for free advertising of CSI projects, promotions, subscriber activation initiatives and customer service initiatives, channel events and ad hoc projects in all the media together with the Department of Marketing & Communications and generate advertising to reach the free advertising goals
  • To monitor the coverage of the media gather press clippings and organize photo files, the cost all the publicity generated and submit a monthly report to the Department of Marketing & Communications
Events
  • Contribute to the planning and rules for multiple-choice events and communication campaigns to promote their services to a trainee and abroad
  • Check the budget for public relations events and publicity
Requisites
General
  • To assist in the development and implementation of a communication plan
  • Develop the present and control the activities program
  • Provide periodic reports with respect to all the activities
  • To edit internal and external memos
  • To compile and run the FAQ customer service staff as and when required
  • To develop and distribute a monthly newsletter
  • Develop, support and monitor social responsibility activities
  • To Start and evaluate team building events and other employee motivation programs
  • Be responsible for all functions of the team
Skills / Knowledge
  • Degree in Communication or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of the local market
  • Experience in a similar position or related desktop
  • Excellent writing and verbal and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and professional ability to interact with the personal skills
  • Creativity
  • Specialist in the management of various social networks and Web site management
  • Highly organized
  • Proficient in Internet Explorer, Power Point and Microsoft Office applications
