Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of PEPFAR Multilateral Advisor
Duties
- Placed within the PEPFAR Coordination Office (PCO), the Multilateral Advisor will receive day-to-day guidance from the PEPFAR Mozambique Country Coordinator and work closely with the PEPFAR Agency leadership and technical staff of the following Agencies: United States Agency for International Development (USAID); Centers for Disease Control (HHS/CDC)
- Health Resources and Services Administration (HHS/HRSA)
- Department of Defense (DOD); Peace Corps (PC) and Department of State/PEPFAR (DoS)
- This position will lead the USG team to complete activities for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (Global Fund) as indicated by the partnership between the USG and the Global Fund as well as provide strategic inputs into other multilateral relationships, especially with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other UN agencies
