Material and Equipment Inspector

Heading Mozambique is searching for a Material and Equipment Inspector, to be based in Pemba, Mozambique.

Duties

• Ensure the quality of company and contractor procured materials and equipment through direct inspection and witnessing of acceptance tests at suppliers
• Manufacturing facilities by participating in kick-off meetings with suppliers and pre-inspection meetings
• Reviewing and approving suppliers quality control plan
• Monitoring of quality control activities performed by suppliers
• Controlling quality control certificates and documents issued by suppliers and supervising material and equipment releases

Requisites

• Technical diploma
• Quality assurance and Quality control basic courses
• 3 Years of technical and Oil & Gas Industry experience
• Intermediate knowledge of English and of the local language is preferred
• Knowledge of Standard ISO, TQM and Quality system
