Infrastructure Electrician

Twigg Exploration & Mining is recruiting a Infrastructure Electrician, to be based in Balama, Mozambique.

Duties

• Ensure all testing work is completed accurately and that all test results are recorded on the register
• Ensure that all electrical repair work is completed safely and that all required insulation is in place and all connections are secure and equipment is safe to return to service or warehouse
• Report all incidents, health anomalies and workplace health hazards via the approved Incident and Hazard Reporting procedures
• Continually monitor the Infrastructure environment to ensure the safety of yourself and other workers
• Make improvement recommendations to the Maintenance Supervisor & continually increase the level of safety in the plant and other associated facilities
• Comply with the Company’s Environmental Social Monitoring Program Management Plan and Health Safety Management Plan requirements at all times
• Ensure safe and efficient execution of Maintenance work for the Balama processing Infrastructure, specialising in Electrical diagnostics, repair and replacement of electrical equipment

Requisites

• Electrical technical Qualification
• 3 + years maintenance experience in mineral processing/heavy industry. Camp, Water, Sewerage, Aerodrome experience highly desirable
• Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively with team members
• Plant start-up and commissioning experience highly desirable
• Sound computer proficiency with intermediate MS Office skills
• Demonstrated ability with HV, LV switching procedures
• Demonstrated ability to read engineering/electrical drawings
