Capital Outsourcing Group is hiring a Human Resources Manager for Nacala.
Duties
Responsible for the development, maintenance and communication of policies and procedures ensuring they meet the company needs
Responsible for the development and maintenance of the company handbook
Provide advice to managers and employees on a daily basis of the more complex HR matters
Coach and influence managers from a people perspective, developing their people management/leadership skills and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviours/actions
Supporting at the appropriate level for Discipline, grievance and appeals within the business
Ensure any agency labour is compliant, accurate records are maintained and any necessary audits are carried out in a timely manner
Provide coaching and support regarding policies, procedures, attendance management, performance, job design, performance management, and department structures etc
Responsible for keeping up to date with employment law changes, providing update to management
Ensure there is a robust fair and consistent recruitment process and procedure in place for both internal and external candidates
Responsible for working with departmental managers to evaluate training requirements and any necessary refresher training
Ensure all data held and processed for employees is compliant with data protection requirements
Undertake HR projects as necessary. Lead and develop projects and/or support others as required
Manage resources effectively at all times by the appropriate allocation of work, setting objectives and the reviewing of performance and by ensuring that sufficient cover is available within the Team at all times
Ensure regular communications within the HR Team making them aware of current and forthcoming issues both within the department and business wide
Play an active role, alongside HR, endorsing Equal Opportunities in the introduction and progression of all employees, both new and old and in ensuring that at all times such staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities they hold within the Company
Requisites
Willing to relocate to Nacala
Corresponding Qualifications
High knowledge in Mozambique Labour Laws
Relevant Management experience in the field is a must
Speaks, reads and writes English fluently
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and strong analytical skills required
Strong employee relations experience and a full understanding of current employment legislation
Proven communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work in fast paced environment and to be able to adapt to change quickly
The ability to work autonomous and as part of a team
