BHP Billiton is seeking a HR Business Partner (Ref. MH0058), to be based in Boane.

Duties
  • Reporting to Superintendent Human Resources Business Partner and working closely with Line Management, your responsibilities will be to provide advice, solutions and HR information that assists functional areas in running and improving the business
  • You must be able to effectively communicate and educate the relevant department on all HR policies and procedures in line with the needs of the business
  • Have in-depth knowledge of HR information systems, ideally SAP and an understanding of the legislative requirements governing HR practices
  • Have a sound understanding of the HR workflow including recruitment, performance management, HR functional metrics, disciplinary and grievance matters
  • To be successful you will need to have the ability to develop supportive relationships with peers and other team members and promote a high level of team interaction
  • Provide superior customer service to Line Management and Employees
Requisites
  • Ideally you will have a degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Industrial psychology or equivalent
  • Solid experience in a related field preferably in an industrial setting
