Health Management Information Systems

US Embassy is recruiting a Health Management Information Systems, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Incumbent provides technical expertise for supporting and developing Health Information Systems (HIS) for HIV/AIDS program
• Collaborates with U.S. team colleagues, host country Ministry of Health and other HIV/AIDS implementing partners in the planning, design, development, updating and maintenance of information systems (databases, software, architecture, etc.) that will improve processes and information from the sub-national to the national level of the host country

Requisites

• Bachelors in one of the following or related disciplines is required: Informatics, Information Science, Health Information Management, Computer Science
• Computer Engineering, or Information Systems is required
• At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining health data information systems to support and evaluate development or health-related program activities is required
• Level III English (good working knowledge in both written and verbal) is required
• Level IV Portuguese (fluency in both written and verbal) is required
