DAI is recruiting a Grants and Subcontracts Manager (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- The Grants and Subcontracts Manager is responsible for the compliant procurement, awarding, management and implementation of USAID SPEED grants and technical activity subcontracts with Mozambican firms, organizations, associations and companies
- The Grants and Subcontracts Manager will ensure that all awards comply with USAID procurement and grants-under-contract regulations, as well as DAI policies and procedures, the approved project Grants Manual and any other relevant policies and procedures
Requisites
- Successful candidates will demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
- B.A. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
- Three to five years of experience in a related role required. Progressive experience in grants and/or subcontract management at the mid-level of an organization is preferred
- Experience implementing grants for USAID projects, required
- Knowledge of the U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), USAID Acquisition Regulations (AIDAR), and USAID Automated Directives System (ADS) is required
- Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to take initiative
- Ability to speak in public and lead formal meetings with high-level government officials
- Competency in the English language, both spoken and written
