Aldelia is recruiting a Freight Forwarding Specialist (m/f), to be based in Pemba, Mozambique.
Duties
- Quotations (Air, Sea, Road, warehousing) to interagency
- Checking shipping documents received from clients, carriers, logistics actors
- Keeping operational trackers accurately updated as assigned by management
- Daily reporting to FF Supervisor and Operation coordinator
- Sending PO to shortlisted supplier’s offer management approval
- Collecting all invoices from suppliers after operation in the shortest while
- Updating interagency network regarding the current operation status
- Following up the documentation process between authorities (Customs, CFM, ADM)
- Available to travel on spot request to Sub Station (Nacala/Palma/Mocimboa/ Nampula) to support logistic operation process
- Conduct HSE meeting on barge/client/AMT premises and during logistic operation
- Maintains physical and electronic files archive accurate, up to date and available for audit
- Responsible for getting Management approval before committing expenses
- Assist the Operation Manager and FF supervisor in Pemba to identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts and rates
- Preparing Invoicing Process and Files checking before closing out in the operating system
- Follow organized QHSE trainings
- Comply with internal QHSE standards
Requisites
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge about the Freight forwarding (air, road and sea) process
- O&G industry transport requirement
- Customs clearance principles and basic requirements
- HSE training
