Financial Officer

PRI is recruiting a Financial Officer, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Forecasting and Budgeting
• Financial analysis
• Funding arrangement
• Cash management
• Perform other related duties as required

Requisites

• Degree/Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  CFA degrees highly desirable
• At least 3 year experience in the same position
• Understanding of derivatives
• Knowledge of company law – legal agreements, loans, bank facilities, share purchase agreements, etc
• Knowledge of financial regulatory environment and exchange control
• Ability to interpret accounting policies, financial statements. Good knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of tax (local and cross border)
• Knowledge of governance and compliance procedures
• Strong written and verbal in Portuguese and English
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with other colleagues at remote locations
• Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
