PRI is recruiting a Environmental, Social and Government Relations Assistant Manager, to be based in Zambézia, Mozambique.

  • Coordinate, review and follow up on matters such a as Environmental Impact Assessment and Resettlement Action Plan
  • Implement the Environmental and Social Management Plan
  • Manage the implementation of the Resettlement Action Plan
  • Manage the development and implementation of an internal Environmental, Social, Health and Safety systems
  • Ensure compliance with Mozambican environmental law by following requisite legal processes
  • Audit and report on environmental and social performance to internal and external clients
  • Diploma or Degree in related areas such as Ecology, Environmental Economy or Environmental tourism
  • At least 3 years’ experience in community development projects and administration
  • Broad Knowledge of the Environmental and Social assessment
  • Experience with development and implementation enterprise business management systems
  • Experience and understanding of agriculture/agribusiness and rural development would be an advantage
  • Good communication and Management skills in English and Portuguese
