Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of DoD PEPFAR FADM Treatment Advisor
Duties
- The incumbent of this position is a senior project manager and the key public health advisor for treatment to the U.S. Department of Defense President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (DoD PEPFAR) Program Manager in Mozambique
- Job holder provides comprehensive public health technical, administrative and managerial advice and assistance in support of treatment activities for the Forças Armadas de Defesa de Moçambique (FADM)
- Responsibilities include day-to-day program management and development, monitoring, reporting and close collaboration with PEPFAR implementing partners (IP's) and FADM leadership to ensure implementation is carried out in accordance with program strategic objectives and internationally-recognized best practices in treatment
- The FADM Treatment Advisor also serves on various national-level technical working groups to develop materials, manuals, policies, and guidelines for HIV/AIDS treatment in Mozambique. The position is directly supervised by the DoD PEPFAR Program Manager
