Aldelia is recruiting a Customs Specialist (m/f), to be based in Pemba, Mozambique.
Duties
- Quotations (Air, Sea and Road) to interagency
- Checking shipping documents received from clients, carriers, logistics actors
- Participating in the coordination of operations (air, sea, road)
- Updating client on daily OPS
- Daily reporting to FF Supervisor and Operation Manager
- Sending PO to shortlisted supplier’s
- Collecting all invoices from suppliers after operation in the shortest delay
- Updating interagency network regarding the current operation status
- Following up the documentation process between authorities (Customs, CFM, ADM)
- Delivery of light cargo within city limit
- Available to travel on spot request to Sub Station (Nacala/Palma/Mocimboa) for support logistic
- Keeping track regularly with custom procedures linked with ongoing operations
- Informing the management regarding any updates in custom regulation
- Responsible for getting Management approval before committing expenses
- Assist the Operations Coordinator in Pemba to identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts and rates
- Preparing Invoicing Process and Files checking before closing out in the operating system
- Comply with internal QHSE standards
Requisites
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Customs clearance process and more precisely related to Oil and Gas project (exemption, vessel temporary importation, ship spares, Term of responsibility…)
- Main Freight forwarding requirements
- O&G operations main equipment’s
- HSE training
