Customs and Lifting Administration Specialist (m/f)

Heading is recruiting for its client, an Oil and Gas company, a Customs and Lifting Administration Specialist (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
  • Liaise with local authorities and customs agent as may be required to support export clearance of LNG and condensate
  • Ensure coordination and interface between the company and the customs agent for the liftings
  • Liaising with internal functions and performance of contract administration activities for lifting operations
  • In coordination with the Commercial Operations Manager and the customs agent, ensure the good standing of the company’s export license and other applicable requirement necessary for customs export
  • Obtaining the relevant information/documentation from the JV partners
  • Manage, maintain, and keep records of all lifting activities and documents, including copies of shipping documents, batch report and other relevant documents received from the terminal
  • Provide support to the Commercial Operations Manager as may be required in respect of lifting scheduling activities and lifting operations, including preparation of shipping documents in coordination with the relevant internal/external function
  • A university degree in a relevant commercial, economics or geotechnical subject
  • Portuguese, English is an advantage
  • 5 years’ experience in a relevant role
  • Relevant knowledge, by technical or professional skills
