ICAP Moçambique

Icap is recruiting a Clinical Systems Manager, to be based in Nampula.

The Clinical Systems Manager (CSM) is responsible at provincial level for supervision and to provide overall technical guidance for ICAP Mozambique’s (ICAP MZ) Capacity Building in Nampula. Oversight of technical activities across programmatic areas: HIV prevention, Adult and pediatric Care and Treatment, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision, PMTCT including B+, HIV Counseling and Testing, TB/HIV, Lab, Pharmacy, Adherence and Psychological Support, Community Linkages.

In direct coordination with the ICAP MZ Technical Director and the technical managers at ICAP Central Offices in Mozambique the incumbent will be responsible for planning and developing interventions, activities, and training of staff for program implementation. Coordination with the Provincial Health Directorate and other partners is crucial for development and extension of the activities in the province.

The Clinical System Manager reports directly to the Provincial Program Manager. This position is grant funded.

Duties
  • Provide guidance and supervision for technical areas across programmatic areas
  • Coordinate planning with support from Central Level technical team
  • Supervise and support development of technical assistance activities at Provincial, District and Health Facility levels
  • Coordinate ICAP technical and logistics support to DPS and Districts in light of Acceleration Plan in coordination with other clinical and community partners
  • Lead Monitoring and Evaluation of the programs and technical activities
  • Provide Technical Assistance to the district teams for Clinical Mentoring of HF staff
  • Support implementation of Quality Improvement systems
  • Build technical capacity among ICAP and HF staff via technical updates and review of norms
  • Provide suggestions and guidance for improving information systems, facilitating community linkages, review of patient flow at HF level, improve and innovate adherence strategies and activities, develop, augment and boost referral systems, etc
  • Draft technical reports in line with program needs
  • Realize other functions as attributed
Requisites
  • Medical Doctor
  • Experience in Development, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HIV related programs and activities, (minimum 3 years)
  • Experience managing health programs in Sub Saharan Africa
  • Experince with Capacity Building and Technical Assistance
  • Experience developing technical documents and reports
