Motorcare is recruiting an Administrative Officer (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
  • The administrative officer is responsible for the majority of administrative duties in the company. This person will manage company official documents, organize files, answer calls, and provide support to business. As an administrative officer, the ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to handle administrative processes related to statutory processes
  • Manage and maintain company official documents, records and files
  • Create, update, and maintaining legal records databases system
  • Prepare correspondence, documents to be submitted to government agencies
  • Lodge and file in time all necessary documents required by regulation
  • Liaise with governments agencies for renewal of company documents
  • Liaise with local municipality agencies to fulfill annual tax payments
  • Prepare board resolutions for all company stakeholders whenever needed
  • Update statutory books and ensure all board resolutions registered timely and accordingly
  • Ensure all companies buildings and properties documents is updated and placed correctly
  • Ensure the company meets all its legal obligations
  • Stay update on relevant developments and changes in statutory and regulatory obligations
  • Assist in preparations of business applications VISA for all company stakeholders timely
  • Implement processes or systems to help/ensure good management of the organization or compliance with legislation and HSEQ
Requisites
  • Strong administrative skills and an aptitude for using IT software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management skills; ability to prioritize
  • Self-directed with interpersonal skill, able to work with less supervision
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to take initiative and flexible with practical approach to work
  • Degree-level qualifications in Business law or related field
  • Undergraduate degree, subjects related to law, finance and business are advantageous but not essential
  • Prior experience as an administrative officer or handling administrative responsibilities in a related field
  • Commercial awareness
  • Professional presentation skills
