Hélio Ernesto Cuambe is the national MEL coordinator at h2n. He has deep experience in developing and overseeing the implementation MEL Plans both at strategic and operational levels. Helio’s current experience in coordinating all MEL activities in h2n, in projects focused on gender equality, community radios, internally displaced people in Cabo Delgado, TB, and Malaria. Helio partook in the design of indicators, data collection tools and in the training of the staff to carry out the monitoring activities of these projects. Prior to the current position, Helio was the MEL official on a 5 Million CAD project funded by Global Affairs Canada, which the main goal of promoting gender equality and women empowerment. Hélio has experience in applying/implementing HCD participatory approach to improve program implementation and maximize impact. Hélio is passionate about data and data visualization and given his previous experiences in digital development, working with digital tools feels very natural, he has experience with Microsoft PowerBi Data Visualization, MYSQL Database, KoBoToolbox for field data gathering and carrying out community baselines.
