Yard Manager

Capital Outsourcing Group Mozambique is hiring a Yard Manager for Maputo.

Duties

• Leadership of yard employees adapted to their possibilities (strengths / weakness)
• Implementation of management methods (situational leadership)
• Creates frame conditions for motivation
• Carry out "target agreements" with employees based on own targets and demand those as per the agreed timetable
• Education of new employees (training plan, work safety instruction)
• Responsibility for securing the internal standards (keeping info-corner up-to-date, explanatory notes for news)
• Responsibility for complying with the local regulations (work safety, environment, securing safe loading)
• Coordination and control of material receipts in the warehouse, storage of material, customer deliveries, customer returns and reconditioning of formwork (4-eyes-principle) as per the internal defined rules and proceedings
• Other duties as assigned or requested

Requisites

• Grade 12
• Previous working knowledge and experience in a formwork company is beneficial
• Practice in operating forklifts and slewing- and portal cranes
• First-aider-education, forklift driving license
• Basic knowledge in IT-Office programmes (computer in general + software)
• High attention to detail
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Hardworking, flexible and good team player
