Technical Advisor for Partnership for HIV Free Survival

The Center for Human Services (CHS) is hiring a Technical Advisor for Partnership for HIV Free Survival (PHFS) for Maputo.
Duties
Travel frequently to Gaza, Sofala and Zambezia Provinces to facilitate community efforts through working with communities in promoting and sustaining linkages of baby and mother pairs to facilities that provide pre and post natal care
Provide technical assistance to communities and PHFS technical partners to improve postnatal PMTCT care for HIV-infected mothers and their infants
Gather, analyze, review and present data on a regular basis to show measurable improvements in care for mother and baby pairs at a community level and linkages between communities and facilities
Review and update frequently work plans and budgets to successfully implement PHFS work plans
Network and participate at community, district, provincial and national PHFS meetings, seminars and learning sessions and calls
Support timely writing and submission of quality and accurate PHFS reports (Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly)
Lead the process of documenting best practices in the form of case studies, success stories, abstracts, and facilitate linkages and knowledge sharing among PHFS partners
Work with local partners and HQ team to ensure that data collected is accurate and valid and captures process and outcome indicators
This position will report directly to the Chief of Party for CHS Representative Office in Mozambique
Requisites
Medical diploma, or Master’s degree in public health, nutrition, community health or or related field
Minimum of 5 years work experience in work with USAID funded programs, or other international donor agencies
Minimum of 5 year work experience in HIV/AIDS related projects
Work experience in Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) and Nutrition
Native speaker in Portuguese, written and verbal proficiency in English
Ability and willingness to travel domestically frequently (approximately 30%)
Must be eligible to work in Mozambique
