Specialist – International & Roaming

Vodacom is recruiting a Specialist – International & Roaming, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Responsible for and execution of the complete launch process for roaming agreements and services including launch management across all functions (marketing, BIT, Technical, CC, Sales, Finance, etc) and testing
• Responsible for and execution of running effective day to day activities related to management of supplier- and partner- management in coordination with BIT, Technical, CC, Finance, etc
• Proactively follow-up on fulfillment of revenue protection processes implemented in the relevant departments, namely BIT, finance
• Proactively follow – up on customer experience related to roaming in collaboration with CC, Sales etc
• Initiate and negotiate IOT discounts in order to maintain and improve Vodacom´s competitive position and reduce costs
• Assistance to pricing, custom product design and analysis including offerings from the competitors, regional offerings and regulatory issues
• Collaborate in the effective delivery of new products to market on quickest possible timings and ensure growth of cross-segment products
• Create and improve constantly procedures in order to guarantee the quality of the cross-functional administration, implementation and maintenance of roaming and international services
• Provide KPI reports to direct management and internal stakeholders like finance, CC, BIT, etc

Requisites

• A degree in Commerce/ Finance/ Foreign Affairs or related fields or equivalent is beneficial
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in roaming and international services
• Experience in and Knowledge of Telecoms industry (preferred)
• Basic project management skills
• Experience in financial reporting, data analysis and interpretation
