Small Grants PEPFAR Coordinator

US Embassy is recruiting a Small Grants PEPFAR Coordinator, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties
  • Manages and administers one-half of the Embassy’s Small Grants program portion of funding under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), including solicitation, administration and monitoring of grants in the amount of approximately $750,000 yearly
  • Serves as an active member of the PEPFAR interagency team in the U.S. Mission with particular emphasis on committees dealing with prevention, local capacity and civil society building, communication and youth outreach
Requisites
  • Bachelors or equivalent college degree in public health, organizational or international studies, public administration, business administration, law, finance, accounting, or organizational management is required OR 2 years of general college studies and four years of specialized work experience in a field named below
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a public administration, governmental, grants management, financial management and/or health related field is required
  • Level IV English (fluency in both written and verbal) is required. (Will be tested)
  • Level IV Portuguese (good working knowledge, reading/speaking/writing is required). (Will be tested)
