CONTACT is recruiting a Senior Travel & Accommodation Coordinator, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Reporting to the General Service Lead, the main activities of the job are to: perform with travel agencies to verify travel details and arrange reservations using existing flight schedule as well as internal resources
- Review travel and accommodation associated invoices, as well as statement of account ensuring accuracy; manage hotel bookings, including hotel booking confirmation; liaise with multiple departments ensuring that main stakeholders receive necessary information on time; charter flight creation in DaWinci
- Charter flight bookings in DaWinci; supervise personnel check in, boarding and disembarking operations at the airport; ensure 100% data accuracy between DaWinci and passenger manifest; consolidate day to day booking request with logistics team; implement decisions of number of flights, legs and change to the flight schedule; communicate initial flight schedule, disseminate revision to flight schedule if or when required
- Ensure timely release of final passenger and cargo manifest; ensure all flights are closed in due time; optimization of the aircraft utilization; keep up to date KPIs database; management of irregularities (AOG – aircraft on ground, delays) and operational consequences whenever required, contribute into TEPMA1 Operational procedure developments, applications and improvements
- Carry out any other activities as may be assigned and approved by line manager; ensure ground operations are performed in compliance with highest HSE standards and as per planed, schedule with no delays attributed to TEPMA1 passengers or air operators personnel; ensure coordination of aviation activities
Requisites
- Minimum of High School level or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas, Upstream Industry and/or aviation activities required
- Knowledge of Oil&Gas companies aviation referential, basic knowledge in Oil and Gas aviation standards and ICAO and IASA regulation, IQSMS system knowledge or equivalent
- Previous experience in air operator operations
- Computer skills including proficiency in MS office user
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work effectively with other departments, under pressure,
- Possess rigor, sense of organization and the ability to anticipate
- Ability to deliver services with quality and on time
