PRI - Precision Recruitment International is hiring a QHSE Manager (m/f) for Maputo.

Duties
  • Deliver QHSE direction and advice to all site personnel
  • Drive the Company policy, strategy and HSE Management systems and associated plans
  • Apply sound governance principles through auditing of compliance, and communicate to all parties accordingly
  • Communicate expectations clearly and effectively to all stakeholders
  • Provide sound QHSE leadership, guidance and support to the site leadership team
  • Cooperate with and mentor the HSE support staff
  • Provide HSE input into contract specifications, proposal requests, reviews of all studies and facility designs when required

Ensure standards are met and provide coaching and support where necessary in the delivery of the following services:

  • Facilitation of Risk Assessments
  • Oversee incident / accident investigations, Inductions and QHSE training
  • Ensure implementation, alignment and compliance with the Company QHSE Management System
  • Assist with the Company initiatives and adhere to agreed timeframes
  • Maintain a regular presence at site work activities. Display visible and felt leadership through regular contact with site personnel
  • The proactive promotion of all Company QHSE principles in the workplace whilst leading by example
  • Ensure comply with all local environmental regulations

Requisites
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate
  • Audit experience
  • Previous experience in supervising
  • Able to travel freely around the region
