Eazi Access Rental is recruiting a Project Development Manager (m/f), to be based in Palma, Mozambique.
Duties
  • To achieve the company's strategic growth objectives by developing and managing the company's growth strategy in the assigned Industry sector by researching, developing and leading innovative solutions for the assigned sector and translating these into improved market share for the company in rental and machine sales
  • To maintain and expand relationships with project in the assigned Sector, representing the entire range of Eazi company products in rental and machine sales
  • To maximize the current and future customer base within the assigned industry/sector by identifying growth opportunities, through researching and networking strategic accounts.

  • Business Development Strategy:
  • Oversee the implementation of a business development strategy across the assigned industry/sectors and targeted projects
  • Scan, research and develop market intelligence and translate into industry needs
  • Identify opportunities for growth, as well as threats, challenges and risks in the assigned sector
  • Define growth sectors and products, prioritize and quantify against international benchmarks and market needs
  • Define a sector plan and budget for sales and rental
  • Develop an Analytical and Strategic account plan for rental and sales
  • Develop and take accountability for the execution of the annual development plan per the sector and product type
  • National Account Management:
  • Build strong customer relationships with the National and strategic accounts in rental and sales within the assigned industry/sector and targeted projects
  • Design and maintain a national account development strategy for each account i.e. opportunistic accounts, key development accounts, maintenance accounts
  • Ensure insight into an up-to-date organizational structure of every national account; develop and maintain key relationships within it
  • Oversee call cycles to ensure national and strategic accounts receive premium customer service
  • Monitor customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis for key account customers
  • Support Regional Sales Network:
  • Assist and support the Regional GMs in the development of new business opportunities which will translate into additional revenue in both rental and sales opportunities
  • Guide and support the Regional Sales network with case studies, marketing and support material to assist with the development of rental and sales opportunities
  • Financial and Commercial Management:
  • Develop, manage and monitor business development team budget for CAPEX and OPEX allocations for new solutions
  • Measure ROI on industry and product business cases and provide feedback to the GM Rental and Sales Support
  • Risk Management - National and International trends
  • Research and engage with relevant industry bodies/forums to stay informed/updated with latest/further development and risks within the assigned industry/sector
  • Report potential risks include a plan of action to mitigate such risk(s)
  • Ensure that knowledge sharing and feedback systems, practices and processes are in place and followed between business development and sales team to build on continues professional development and best practice
Requisites
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification
  • At least 6 years at a senior level with min 3 years proven track record in Business Development in the assigned industry/sector e.g. Mining, Construction, Heavy industrial and Light Industrial
  • Relevant industry/sector experience
  • Working in a CRM environment will be advantage
  • Proven track record developing key and strategic projects
  • Knowledge: Technical and mechanical; Commercial
  • Work at height industry and Material handling products (advantageous)
  • Industry (Governance)
