Plan International is recruiting a Program Area Manager, to be based in Nampula, Mozambique.

Duties
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework, plans, tools/instruments and database which are in compliance with Plan International standards
  • Develop and implement health facility and community monitoring plans
  • Work with project team members and the partner organization to ensure facility and community level data is collected, processed, analysed and presented for health officials and community members to identify and make informed decisions on challenges in achieving MNH/SRHR outcomes
  • Ensure timely and high quality monitoring and evaluation reports are produced
  • Document and disseminate results and best practices on Program related lessons learnt to inform decision making
  • Provide regular and timely feedback on project progress against planned activities, outputs and results
  • Ensure capacity building by regularly training staff and partners for improved program monitoring and evaluation
  • Provide technical leadership in operational (baseline study, gender assessment and end line study) and programme research processes
  • Support advocacy and other program components with relevant evidence to inform the activities
