Procurement Administrative Associate (m/f)


Chemonics is recruiting a Procurement Administrative Associate (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
  • Inform the lead time to the Ministry of Health and internal customers
  • Follow-up delivery dates of open Purchase Orders and update procurement tracker
  • Update the internal customer of the upcoming deliveries
  • Send a pre-alert to the recipient laboratory
  • Receive and verify the accuracy of proof of delivery as per Purchase order description
  • Prepare overview of the proof of delivery and share it with the lab team
  • Assist the lab team with the requests related to distributions
  • Ensure that completed procurement files are properly filed in share point and physical file based on the checklist
  • Write and Review the letters and other documents
  • Support the achievement of the overall project goals as required to ensure project performance
  • Process and fulfill orders within the procurement system ARTMIS
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Procurement Manager
  • The incumbent for this position should possess the following qualifications:
  • Experience with administrative activities
  • Proficiency in common computer packages (e.g. Word and Excel)
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to accomplish goals and meet deadlynes
  • Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English is required
  • Proactive, responsible, keen of learning, and committed to teamwork
