Capital Outsourcing Group Mozambique is hiring a Piping Supervisor (M&P Supervisor) for Temane, in the Inhambane province.
Duties
- Ensure that all assigned personnel and construction contractors supervision and manpower are fully instructed and motivated with respect to FWSA Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policy, site security, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client requirements
- Agree method statements, risk assessments and job safety analysis. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the agreed method statements
- Ensure that all hazardous activities have an agreed method statement and risk assessment before commencement of work
- Routinely study, check, review and validate all contractors work scopes eg. Piping, steel erection, mechanical etc. ensuring all contractors proper interpretation and compliance with latest revision AFC drawings and specifications
- Assist piping, steel erection and mechanical contractors in their take-over and access of work areas and foundations. Ensure that civil and area handover documentation is available, relevant and that mechanical and area contractors can effectively access and accept their work areas and job faces
- Ensure that all contractors working on site have temporary facilities, equipment and hand tools etc that are fully capable of supporting contractors site needs in the execution of contracted works to meet schedule completions
Requisites
- BSc in Engineering
- Experience in Construction/Piping Supervisor
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English
- Mozambique Nationals will be given preference
