Painter

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Painter, to be based in Massingir, Mozambique.

Duties

• Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper and removing old paint
• Match paint samples for touch-ups and other projects
• Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure you complete each project in an efficient, timely manner
• Provide assistance to semi-skilled or unskilled workers
• Meet with property managers to discuss color and finish options as well as other design details

Requisites

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Good knowledge and understanding of paint
• Solid knowledge of commercial and construction painting techniques
• Good with air less spray method
• Good understanding of blasting method
• Good supervision and team leader skills
• Good English is a bonus
