MSG Driver

US Embassy is recruiting a MSG Driver, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• The incumbent operates motor vehicles in accordance with local laws, U.S. government policies and regulations, and instructions to transport security personnel, official visitors, or documents within the city and surrounding area
• Be prepared to respond to emergency situations by being familiar with pre-determined routes
• Maintains an operational shift work schedule on a rotational basis
• Maintains vehicle in clean and serviceable condition
• Completes daily vehicle logs
• Travels to South Africa as needed for supply runs
• This position involves shifting hours and work schedule that can be assigned throughout the 7 day week and will be compensated within the above described salary package
• The incumbent must also successfully complete 16hour armored vehicle training

Requisites

• Completion of Secondary School (12th grade)is required
• Three years of chauffeur experience is required
• Level III (good working knowledge) English is required
• Level III (good working knowledge) Portuguese is required
• Possession of local driver’s license is required
