World Food Programme is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) - SSA 4, to be based in Zambézia, Nampula & Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.

Duties
  • Prepare regular output monitoring reports, including consolidation of operational data from the field on food distribution planning and reporting
  • Ensure accuracy of data entry produce Monthly Output Report
  • Contribute to the implementation of the M&E system in the field and reporting on outcome and output level indicators
  • Act as Focal point in all issues related to COMET
  • Provide technical support to selected partners on M&E tools and reports
  • Maintain and provide updates of the collected data, reporting timely
  • Provide support to the evaluations of operations reports
Requisites
  • Completion of secondary school education
  • Desired experiences for entry the role:
  • General knowledge of WFP monitoring and evaluation systems and standards
  • knowledge of statistical software, such as Excel
  • Familiarity with quantitative survey techniques and analysis
  • Experience on M&E systems, data analysis, preferably relevant to specific area of food security
  • Good communication skills and a clear understanding of the subject matter
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with counterparts and staff within the office, donors, local authorities, NGOs and other UN agencies
