Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Heading Moçambique

Heading Moçambique is searching for a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to be part of a new project in Education for World Vision financed by the US Government, to be based in Nampula.

Duties
  • The purpose of the Project Monitoring and Evaluation Manager position is to provide overall leadership to project performance, monitoring in line with the targets established in the project agreement
  • Establishing Monitoring and Evaluation systems, designing data collection tools and developing an indicator database to provide timely information regarding project status, as well as compiling and analysing project data for reporting purposes
Requisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area e.g. development, social sciences, statistics
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring and evaluation systems and processes
  • 5 years relevant experience working in monitoring and evaluation
  • Experience of working in US government grants is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Portuguese and English
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, or other similar software
