Chemonics is recruiting a MIS Synchronization Advisor, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties
  • The Ferramenta Central (FC)is a web based centralized database, developed to the CMAM and it is used for creating distribution plans, conducting internal audits, and running M&E and ad hoc reports
  • The MIS Synchronization Advisor will be responsible for the development and strengthening of data exchange between CMAM Information Systems: FC, MACS, SIMAM and ESMS
  • Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Assess adequacy of CMAM IS infrastructure, including but not limited to an analysis of the technical and operational interoperability between Ferramenta Central and other logistic / health information systems (specifically MACS, ESMS, SIMAM and DHIS II)
  • Develop and strengthen data exchange between FC, MACS, SIMAM and other tools
  • Support LMIS system to respond to user feedback
  • Strengthen interfaces with FC and other systems (Potentially ESMS)
  • Develop and finalize reports, KPI Indicators
  • In conjunction with CMAM contributes to the development of a Product Roadmap for FC and definition of the vision of FC in 3 years
Requisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working on a USAID or donor-funded project preferred
  • Demonstrated experience for designing, managing, and implementing donor-funded MIS programs
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required
  • The MIS Synchronization Advisor will report directly to the Ferramenta Central Manager
