• KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is a government agency of the Republic of Korea. KOTRA supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by promoting exports and overseas investment
• KOTRA Maputo covers the markets of Mozambique, Angola, and Eswatini. We are currently recruiting a Marketing & Communications Specialist

Duties

• Promote Korean companies and products in Mozambique, Angola, and Eswatini
• Organize marketing and promotional events (trade delegations, international trade fairs, etc.)
• Invite potential partners to participate in trade and business events in the Republic of Korea
• Identify potential partners for Korean suppliers and coordinate business meetings
• Support and accompany Korean companies during business trips
• Build and maintain business relationships with potential partners
• Respond to inquiries from local partners and identify suitable Korean suppliers
• Listen to challenges faced by Korean suppliers and local partners, facilitate communication, and propose solutions
• Conduct key issue and market monitoring

Requisites

• Must be legally eligible to work in Mozambique
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Proficiency in English
• Korean language skills are preferred
• Prior experience in a related field is preferred
• Must have no disqualifying reasons for travel to Korea or other countries
• Disqualification criteria for the business trip: Under the Immigration Control Act, this includes (but is not limited to) individuals who are currently undergoing criminal trial, those who have not completed the execution of a prison sentence or detention, and those who have failed to fulfill mandatory military service obligations
