ERM is one of the world’s leading providers of environmental, health & safety, risk and sustainability consulting services. We are looking for individuals with established consultancy skills to rapidly take up key roles in our Maputo offices
Duties
- Coordinate, plan or participate in environmental and social studies and monitoring programs to help our clients to obtain environmental and social licenses primarily for major capital projects
- Travel widely in Mozambique and internationally
Requisites
- Experience in participating and leading Environmental and Social Impact Assessments for large infrastructure and resource projects
- Experience on project management including subcontractor and team coordination, preparation of proposals and contact with clients is required
- Mozambican nationality
- BSc in a scientific Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Geoghaphy, or an engineering discipline
- Fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong writing and speaking skills
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Power and/or Manufacturing sectors and international environments
- Knowledge of Mozambican and/or other African environmental legislative frameworks
