Formwork and Scaffolding Sales Engineer

Capital Outsourcing is recruiting a Formwork and Scaffolding Sales Engineer, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements
• Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
• Administering client accounts
• Preparing reports
• Co-ordinating contract sales projects
• Solving client problems
• The sales engineer is responsible for promoting products and consulting customers regarding the most cost-effective formwork and shoring solution
• During sales consultations with contractors (general and sub-contractors) who carry out the concrete work, the sales engineer must be able to analyze drawings and develop preliminary concepts for formwork and shoring solutions using company products
• The position provides the perfect platform for individuals looking to exercise their sales and entrepreneurial abilities
• The sales engineer is responsible for promoting the company’s products and consulting customers regarding the most cost-effective formwork and shoring solution

Requisites

• Relevant degree or certification in sales, construction, engineering and / or mechanical engineering
• Commercial / Technical qualification and training - advantageous
• Mozambican National
• Formwork and scaffolding experience and understanding – essential
• Sales and customer management experience
• Financial management experience i.e. invoicing, budgeting, forecasting etc
• Logistics background
• Well versed on current market trends pertaining to industry
