The U.S. Embassy is recruiting two Foreign Commercial Service (FCS) Assistant Interns (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
  • The interns will assist U.S. Commercial Service team in helping U.S companies to do business in Mozambique. Intern will perform a variety of administrative and commercial tasks in support of U.S. Commercial Service programs
  • Work hours: Part-time; 20 hours/week
  • Salary: Unpaid Internship
  • Length of hire: January 17, 2022 – July 15, 2022 (6 months)
Duties
  • Drafting correspondences
  • Conducting research
  • Event management
  • Costumer Service support
  • Administrative support
  • Attend webinars and conferences when requested
Requisites
  • Language: English and Portuguese (Written, Spoken, Listening) Level 4. (This will be tested)
  • Computer: Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with majors in Economics, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, International Relations, and International Business
  • Experience: Not required but exposure to Business and/or International Relations is preferred
