Finance Manager

WWF is recruiting a Finance Manager, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Under the supervision of the Country Director, The Finance Manager will ensure a high performing office with efficient operating systems, professional and skilled staff, and strong financial resources, delivering conservation impact on issues and in places that are key for WWF’s Network Initiatives and other global conservation priorities
• She/he will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems for all financial support services, including accounting, financial and management reporting, auditing, IT systems, budgeting, internal controls, and adherence to guidelines developed by WWF International and WWF Regional Office for Africa

Requisites

• A degree in Accounting and at least seven years relevant experience
• Full accounting qualification i.e. CIMA, ACCA, CIS or equivalent
• A thorough knowledge of, and dexterity with, accounting software (e.g. Oracle)
• Demonstrated skills in developing, managing and evaluating financial and administrative plans and policies
• Excellent inter-personal skills, and proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels, within WWF Mozambique and, as required, with external stakeholders

• Strong leadership abilities
• The ability to work under pressure
