Field Engineer

PRI is recruiting a Field Engineer, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Provide leadership in the assembly and installation of all substation equipment
• Perform engineering activities and provide technical advice associated with various field projects
• Monitor progress and quality, inform site manager of significant developments or problems and help resolve issues.​ Assist more experienced commissioning engineers and site management on complex tasks
• Utilize computer programs for various engineering, administrative, and office procedural purposes
• Perform calculations, conduct analyses and provide pertinent data and information
• Modify drawings and track as-builds as required in the appropriate engineering software

Requisites

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related Science
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
