Data Collectors

Duties

• Will provide support to the Study of Costs of Comprehensive HIV Treatment at Out-Patient Clinics in Mozambique
• Will provide training in Maputo
• Will travel with the study supervisor across Mozambique and assist with the collection of facility records
• Interviews with health facility staff and patients, and conduct data entry
• Assignment will be full time during the period of the study including Saturdays
• Sundays will usually be used to travel from one location to other

Requisites

• Data collectors should be hard-working
• Have previous data collection experience
• Basic knowledge of HIV
• Feel comfortable working with and around people who are HIV positive
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Basic math skills
• Be willing to travel and work exclusively on this project for up to 6 weeks at a time
• Experience working in Microsoft Excel
• Strong preference for some of the data collectors on each team to be a nurse or an MD familiar with HIV care and treatment
• Strong preference for at least a Bachelor degree
