Compliance and Reporting Specialist (m/f)

Heading is recruiting for its client an Oil and Gas company, a Compliance and Reporting Specialist (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Assisting the procurement section with the verification and approval of the Vendor List according to the contract strategy and the procurement plan
• Assisting Local Vendor Qualification & Development including market intelligence activities
• Managing the communications channel concerning Vendor Qualification other Companies within Project Partners
• Updating and maintaining the Product and Services Classification List
• Being member of the Vendor Qualification Team
• Updating the Vendor Qualification Capability Profile through periodic analysis of Vendor’s re-evaluation and feedback reports
• Support service companies assisting in the Vendor Qualification Process

Requisites

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics - preferable
• Minimum 2 years experience in oil and gas projects
• Minimum 2 years experience of contracts and procurement area
• Knowledgeable and familiar with international contractual format and complex corporate and project governance
• Knowledge of Commodity markets and price trends, various grades, qualities, and varieties of materials, supplies, and equipment
• Previous work in high complexity projects
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese (verbal and written), particularly for contract terminology
