Commodities Manager for a NGO

Heading Moz is searching for a Commodities Manager for a NGO to be based in Nampula, Mozambique.

Duties

• The Commodities Manager will provide leadership and oversee to the management of commodities which are used in the provision of a daily nutritious school meals
• This includes leading the commodities team
• Management of commodities from point of entry through storage and dispatch to distribution
• Ensuring compliance to donor and organizational standards
• Completing reporting according to defined standards

Requisites

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject e.g. Management, Development, Accounting
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of food commodities standards and tracking systems
• Minimum of 5 years in commodities management or logistics
• Experience with USDA commodities grants (preferable)
