Chemonics is recruiting a Chief of Party-COP (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
  • Chemonics seeks experienced professionals for the anticipated USAID-funded Mozambique Commodities for Health: Ensuring Guaranteed Access & Reliability (CHEGAR). This activity will aim to establish an effective and efficient transportation system in Mozambique for medical commodities by engaging the private sector to provide transport and transport management solutions. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world
Requisites
  • Master’s degree or higher in supply chain management, business management, public health, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership positions designing, overseeing the implementation, strategic direction, and technical vision of USAID-funded supply chain technical assistance programs of similar size and scope in Mozambique and/or or East and Southern Africa
  • Excellent managerial, communications, and operational experience, preferably in managing large USAID projects including coordination with several public and private sector partners and stakeholders
  • Previous chief of party experience highly preferred; and
  • Fluency in English required; working knowledge of Portuguese preferred
