Duties
Marketing
  • Assessing and defining gas business markets and key trends in Mozambique
  • Define AL’s entry strategy into Mozambique
  • Design and implement a 5 year road map for the new market
  • Builds the marketing plan from strategic analysis by market/segment. Implements specific programs if opportunity exits
  • Defines Sales and profitability objectives, markets to focus on and products pricing policy
  • Recommends enhancements to improve performance and customer satisfaction
  • On-going market evaluation to up-date the company’s strategic view of the market by country
  • Market size by products
  • Main markets, key customers
  • Market trends, economical trends + dynamics in the territory, market forecasts
  • Competitive intelligence (SWOT) - gas players + market shares, benchmark offers + products + services for this specific market
  • GAP analysis, growth potential
Manage startup activities
  • Apply new offers and innovation
  • Coordinates sales activities + administration between the cluster and the new market to effectively monitor and control the company’s growth in the country
  • Monitor and motivate allocation of resources to deliver results
  • Monitor sales, COS, GE according to business plan
  • Short to long term planning of market needs versus AL’s resourcing portfolio
Key account management & Networking
  • Contributes to the selection of Key Accounts and develop relationships with decision makers
  • Promotes the AL business model, has to be focused on positioning AL as the solution provider
  • Explores new routes for growth, within assigned strategic and budgetary limits
  • Coordinates sales channels development to effectively communicate to customers the value and features of our products, applications and services including website, brochures
Requisites
  • Degree/Diploma in Sales / Marketing / Engineering or any business related qualification
  • Broad product knowledge and training on the job (at least 5 years experience in sales + marketing function)
  • Experience in AL business lines (IM, LI, HC)
  • Site visits and practical understanding
  • Contract + key account management
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and gas
  • Key applications by market
  • AL product offer/s (branding)
  • Standard contracts + legislation: by country
  • Price revision : indexation
  • Capability to elaborate a detailed Business Case + financial tools required for investment decisions
  • Knowledge of markets’ customer base
