Duties
- Responsible for the project management of Rail scope of work
- Implement the approved Rail strategy as contained in the Rail scope of work
- Preparation of scopes of work to subcontract and management of the execution of contract
- Manage progress and report as well as identify potential project execution and operational risks (budget, schedule and standards)
- Liaise with Senior Project Manager, Subcontractors and Consultants, design team, RTCM coal chain and operations, and other relevant stakeholders on a regular basis
- Manage design and detailing of rail loading, rail facility, rolling stock and other associated infrastructure
Requisites
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or science related discipline
- Post graduate qualifications in Project Management preferable
- At least 10+ years of experience in rail engineering or infrastructure project management
- Experience with rail feasibility studies, project implementation, feasibility report writing and cost estimating
