Accountant/Admin & Finance Manager

Mozmotion is recruiting a Accountant/Admin & Finance Manager, to be based in Beira and Sofala, Mozambique.

Duties
  • Responsible for the capturing of all data into Pastel; Recordkeeping and filing of original paperwork; Weekly Cash flow forecasts; Pettycash reconciliations; Bank Reconciliations; Process weekly payments; Issuing of Purchase orders to operations; Supplier negotiations; Supplier relationships including MTS; Bank relationships; Internal Staff Relationships; Implement and oversee quality control programs; Improvement of systems and procederes; Manage Customer/Client’s Expectations; Manage communication lines with management, suppliers, and cliente; Management Reporting monthly; Assistance with Labour Relations and Labour Agreements and Process; Stock Control and management; Monthly payroll; Communicate with staff re Payslips and payroll associated itens; Translation of official documentation; Debtors – monthly invoicing & reconciliations; Creditors – recordkeeping, payments & reconciliations; Filing of all documentation – Electronic archiving; Minutes of meetings
Requisites
  • Strong accounting background
  • A Degree is optional but a very strong plus
  • Addition requirements: Fully Bilingual in speaking and writing of English and Portuguese, Minimum 5 Years experience in Accounting and Company Administration, Payroll and knowledge or accreditation on the application of Labour Law practices in Mozambique, Labour Relations experience
  • To manage the accounting processes effectively and efficiently, including payroll and all administrative functions linked to this responsibility
  • Key performance areas: Accounting, Reconciliations, Governance and Compliance, Administrative and Payroll and HR Support
