Chief Accountant (m/f)

Description

• Purpose: Assist the Chief Accountant in the processing of invoices from receipt to payment, in issuing the billing and maintaining the Company's General Ledger

Duties

• The incumbent is able to perform the following tasks in relation for EME and its branches:
• Booking of invoices received and matching to contracts in SAP
• Follow of invoice approvals with user departments
• Deal with company contractors on invoice payment matters
• General ledger maintenance and journal preparation
• Calculation of accounting entries for month-end processes (depreciation, capitalization, etc.)
• Reconciliation of relevant balance sheet accounts
• Execute cost allocation in SAP and generate debit notes to group companies
• Prepare monthly billing statement for operated Joint Ventures
• Checking, seeking approval and booking of non-operated monthly billings and cash calls in ledger
• Preparation of bank reconciliations on monthly basis

Requisites

• Degree in Finance, Business Admin Professional or other related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience of working in the Budgeting & Planning Department of a well reputed global/multinational organization
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system (knowledge of Hyperion is a plus)
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong Analytical & Organizational Skills
• Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility and character
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
