UX Information Technologies, the entity responsible for the emprego.co.mz platform, respects the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting the personal data collected, used, and stored through our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights of users.

This policy is governed by Law No. 3/2017 of January 9 – the Personal Data Protection Law of the Republic of Mozambique – and other applicable regulations.

2.1. Data provided directly by the user:

  • Full name;
  • Email address and phone number;
  • Gender, date of birth, and nationality;
  • Professional experience and academic background (via CV);
  • Cover letter, salary expectations, and other data submitted during applications.

2.2. Data collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, device, and operating system;
  • Date and time of access;
  • Pages visited and interactions with the platform (for statistical and service improvement purposes).

The data collected is processed for the following purposes:

  • To enable user account registration and management;
  • To process job applications;
  • To facilitate communication between candidates and recruiters;
  • To personalize and improve user experience;
  • To send notifications about new job vacancies or opportunities;
  • To ensure platform security;
  • To comply with legal and contractual obligations.

UX Information Technologies does not sell or share user data with third parties for commercial purposes. However, data may be shared with:

  • Registered recruiters on the platform, with limited access to candidate profiles who applied to their job postings;
  • Technical service providers, such as web hosting, statistical analysis, and technical support, subject to confidentiality agreements;
  • Competent authorities, when required by law or court order.

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or while the user account remains active. Users may request the deletion of their data at any time, except where legal obligations require otherwise.

In accordance with applicable law, users have the right to:

  • Access their personal data;
  • Request the rectification of incorrect or outdated data;
  • Request the deletion of their data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Object to the processing of their data, in legally permissible cases;
  • Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent;
  • Request restriction of processing in specific circumstances.

We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no system is 100% secure, and users must also protect their login credentials.
